it refuses to help me . what kind of app is this , a waste of time and doesnt help someone who needs it . trash

This app doesnt seem to think my problems are serious enough to get help. I obviously got this app for a reason. I tried again to see if that was the problem and I listed that I was suicidal, they still had better people to deal with I guess because again they said "this app isnt a good match" Wouldnt recommend.

my match with my Counselor is perfect. She really says the things that make sense to take away my irrational thoughts and Troubles I am going through. I really recommend this app. Instead of going to see a therapist every 2 weeks (if you get in), you have it THERE. thank you :)

These guys were thorough, professional, quick and eager to start. I discovered that online wasnt the best for me but if I were to need someone again while traveling I would definitely come back here. I do not recommend Talkspace at all. They were extremely robotic. I thought my therapist was awesome!

I had a great experience with Better Help

Took the quiz a good three times. Each with different answers after getting denied to clinical health the first time. All I got was "we are terribly sorry" and some numbers to call. I worry for those who are really in a bad mental state looking for help from this app only to receive none. Im fairly recovered but I still wanted some advice on certain things. Perhaps it would work for someone else but not me. Good luck.

Sometimes its difficult to communicate with my counsellor on my desktop. Saving the URL on my phone and tablet wasnt easier. This is a God send. Thank you!!!

Long story short, I did the 7 day trial.. Payments of $35 a week and billed quarterly. I went to quit it and it asked me if Im sure that I want to quit I clicked yes it told me to check to see if I was approved for financial aid so I tried it just to see. It asked me no more then 10 questions and I was approved for 40% off of the $35 a week which brought it down to $21 a week I believe. Then I decided to finish my conversation with my counselor so I decided to just do it for one more week and not even one week into it and they billed me for $455!!! This technically should have only been $21 but at the same time it shouldve been billed to me three months later not one week later. Im so extremely furious! So I go to contact them and on the app and the website there is no phone number or address for them. So I googled better help phone number and the first thing that pops up is rip off report.com and negative reviews as recent as a few days ago and todays date is 3/28/16! Thank God this page had a phone number and an address on it which I will provide you with shortly so it nothing like this happens to you. I call them and go through an automated machine to finally talk to somebody, and she asked for my first name last name email address and I told her that I just need to get a hold of billing so then she says is this about every fun request and I say yes! She asked for the last four digits of my credit card and the expiration date and then she tells me that within one day I will received an email telling me if they excepted my refund request or if they need me to provide more information to them so they can except it and then she hung up. That was it I cant believe that she automatically knew what I was calling about! If youre getting this many calls obviously youre doing something wrong am I right? So I will update you guys again once I get my refund! But please dont download this app its a waste of time! They prey on innocent people in need! Mind you I make minimum wage and by them taking this money out I literally have nothing in my bank account right now so I am highly furious and upset. This is such a convenience for me because my insurance I have a deductible so I they wouldnt cover much if I went to a therapist. So what they charge for how much I talk to her its amazing! She is definitely helping me a lot getting me through things helping me process takes it slow just like any counselor there is nothing different. I feel like this is better cause you dont feel rushed all the time.

No matter when I have a problem come up, I can count on receiving advice in a very quick turnaround and I can make better decisions because of it.

it says 12+ but I put in the age of 14 and it says I shouldnt be using it...

Quick matching with a counselor, a great affordable resource if your work schedule or insurance doesnt permit therapy sessions in person.

The counselor was empathetic and passionate about her work and her clients, she offered solutions to help with my anxiety--solutions that I use on a day to day basis

My counselor has been extremely helpful. Im glad I chose to try this out!!

Connecting with professionals who can really help. It breaks the barrier and the stigma of the term therapy.

Told I wasnt sad enough

I appreciate the therapist I was matched with. They did a great job matching us. I also like how she didnt skimp on me because I was in the free trial she was there 100% and even after. I have since paid and the service gets better.

App has bugs. I could not scroll up when I wrote a long message for example. So I end up using the web interface instead of the app. But the service itself is great!

I dont think $45 a week is a reasonable price for these services, especially when you have no idea when youll hear from your counselor. You can hear from them in 5 minutes or it can take 2 days for them to get back to you.

I had a great experience with BetterHelp in the 1+ year I used it. My therapist was always so helpful; I would email her when I had a bad day or setback and she knew just what to say to make me think of the problem in a new way and pull me out of a spiral of negative thinking. I would use this service again in a heartbeat - so useful if you are willing to do the work and take the advice. :)
